With a growing population of Americans age 65 years or older and projected to double to 71.5 million by 2030, the importance of planning for one’s legal needs has become essential.

The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), an association of attorneys dedicated to improving the quality of legal services provided to older Americans and individuals with special needs, has declared the month of May “National Elder Law Month.” This month has been designated as a time to educate seniors and their families about their legal options in dealing with long term care planning, Medicaid, trusts and estate planning, and other critical issues.

Elder Law attorney and NAELA member, Charles Bratton of Rothamel Bratton Attorneys at Law is marking the occasion by hosting “Elder Law Day” on May 29th at their Haddonfield, NJ office. They will be offering FREE 30 minute consultations to review estate planning questions and elder law issues. These time slots are available by appointment only so please call to schedule your appointment today, 856-857-6000. In addition, the firm is also drawing attention to the free resources they offer, including helpful articles on our blog and estate planning/elder law planning resources at www.rothamelbratton.com/resource-guide
